Performers who have signed up online, can join the ensemble at Helix Park on Make Music Day,  Sunday 21 June 2026.

We'll only have chairs and sheet music available for performers who have registered in advance!

We thank our supporters, Falkirk Council and Making Music, for making this superb venue possible.

Travel and Parking information:

How to get to The Helix | The Kelpies Car Park

There is a charge for the main car park. Alternative parking available at Falkirk Stadium, which is approx. a 15 minute walk through the park.

 Facilities:

3 sets of toilets, including accessible toilet and Changing Places Toilet

Café and visitors centre – Open until 5pm

There will be outdoor vans for food and hot drinks next to the Kelpies

The retail area and toilets will be open till 8pm

We will provide:

• A chair

• Only if you asked for it to be printed, your sheet music
  We will not be printing extra copies if you said you would bring your own!

Essential to bring with you:

• Music stand (not required for choir)

• Sheet music
  (unless you asked us in advance to print you a copy)

• Pegs to secure your sheet music

• Suitable clothes (check the weather - we will be outside!)

• Sun protection if required (sun cream, hat etc.)

• Instrument or singing voice

• Water

What happens if it rains? Or there is a heatwave?

We do not have roof cover at our performance location. It's a wonderful, iconic site, but we can't arrange a cover over all the performers we're expecting.

We may have to cancel in really severe wet and windy weather, or even a severe heatwave.

If this is likely, a warning email will be sent to participants the day before, followed by a final decision message by 9am on the day.
